Napoli’s journey in the Coppa Italia ended on Tuesday as they were knocked out in the quarter-finals after a penalty shootout against Como, who featured Cesc Fabregas.

Just before halftime, Controversy erupted when Jacobo Ramon fouled Rasmus Hojlund at the edge of the penalty area, leading Conte to demand a VAR review.
“At least check it, you fool! Go take a look!” he yelled.
As the fourth official approached to calm him, Conte persisted: “Whether it’s red or not, VAR should assess it, come on!”
In the second half, Ramon committed a similar offense at the edge of the box, yet was not shown a yellow card.

Conte’s frustration did not go unnoticed and was echoed by his coaching staff.
“That was definitely a yellow card!” Conte shouted.
“He [the referee] is doing this on purpose against me,” the Napoli manager expressed to the fourth official, who once again attempted to diffuse the situation.
“That was a clear yellow! How is that not a card? You’re ruining us!” Conte concluded.
