Alberto Grassi, a player for Cremonese, has received a four-match suspension for verbally abusing and pushing the referee during a contentious 4-1 loss to Como.

The home team reacted angrily to a controversial penalty awarded to Como in a match crucial for their Serie A survival.
This led to multiple red cards, including one for Grassi, as well as for his teammates Milan Djuric and David Okereke, who confronted the assistant referee while warming up.
Cremonese Faces Serie A Suspensions

The Lega Serie A has announced that Grassi will serve a significant four-match suspension.

This punishment follows his use of a blasphemous remark, which is considered severe profanity in Italian, his aggressive approach to referee Fabio Maresca, and the contact he made with the official.
Djuric will also be sidelined for two matches for his disrespect toward officials, while Okereke has received a one-game suspension.

Additionally, Udinese defender Christian Kabasele will be banned for two matches following his red card for a kick against Rasmus Hojlund during an off-the-ball incident in the same match.
The Lega Serie A has also issued one-match suspensions for Nicolas Valentini (Hellas Verona), Sascha Britschgi (Parma), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Inter), Ylber Ramadani (Lecce), and Jamie Vardy (Cremonese).
