Crystal Palace have signed England Under-23 forward Lexi Lloyd-Smith on a three-year contract.
The 23-year-old topped the WSL2 scoring charts last season, netting 23 goals in 48 matches for Bristol City.
She is set to make her top-flight debut with the Eagles, who earned a return to the Women’s Super League by finishing second in the second tier last season.
Manager Jo Potter described Lloyd-Smith as a major talent who proved her quality in WSL2 last year.
Lloyd-Smith said she’s thrilled to come back to south London and represent her roots, adding that being from Peckham is a source of pride.
Her arrival continues Palace’s summer rebuild ahead of their WSL campaign, following the recent signing of Lionesses striker Bethany England.
