Boreham Wood defender James Clarke has committed to a new contract that will keep him at the National League club until at least the conclusion of the 2027-28 season, with the possibility of an additional year.
The 26-year-old right-back joined Boreham Wood from league rivals Solihull Moors in March, participating in 11 matches as the team was defeated by Rochdale in the promotion final earlier this month.

Clarke made a significant impact in April, netting a hat-trick during a 5-1 victory against Wealdstone. Boreham Wood concluded the season in fourth place, triumphing over Forest Green Rovers and Carlisle United in the play-offs to secure a spot in the Wembley final.
Clarke began his professional career with Mansfield Town before moving to Solihull in 2021.
