Damien Duff will take on the role of first-team assistant coach at Brentford for the upcoming 2026-27 Premier League season.
In 2024, Duff led Shelbourne to win the League of Ireland Premier Division title, building on his previous coaching experiences at Celtic, Shamrock Rovers, and with the Republic of Ireland national team.

Head coach Keith Andrews expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’ve known Damien for quite some time. I have observed his coaching development closely through various courses and our collaboration with the Republic of Ireland national team.”
