Mike: A fantastic first half where we deserved to take the lead. United managed to withstand Rangers’ second-half pressure, and it could have gone either way in the end. As a happy United fan in Majorca, I’m thrilled to see us at the top of the league!

Stephen: United will definitely regret missing that golden opportunity to secure all three points – a victory wouldn’t have been unjustified based on the overall play throughout the match. It was a challenging game, with both teams creating chances, but United aimed to play football, while Rangers seemed to rely on more direct tactics reminiscent of past teams. Apart from Thelo Aasgaard showing some skillful touches, Rangers were quite poor, and United should have made them pay for it. There’s a lot to be optimistic about for the rest of the season; we shouldn’t fear anyone, and we have to maintain this effort in every game. Jim Goodwin seems to have built a stronger squad, and the tactics worked well tonight. Looking ahead to the next match with confidence!
Craig: A solid start to the season. It looks like we’re shifting towards a more attacking style. The new signings are looking promising, and it’s great to finally see some speed up front. However, we will sorely miss Will Ferry when he departs – he was man of the match once again.

Lee: A major transformation from last season. The setup is improved, our players are better, and the quality of football has noticeably increased. I would have loved to see Amar Fatah in this team! The early signs are indeed encouraging!
Jim: A decent start against an average Rangers team, although Jesse Randall squandered a great chance to clinch it. None of the new signings shone brightly, which is what you hope for, and it’s becoming common to see a lack of Scottish players on the field.
Ross: An outstanding first half, the best opening 45 minutes at Tannadice in ages. We showed great link-up play, solid defensive work, and impressive effort all around. While the second half was destined to drop in intensity, it was still a commendable performance, earning us a well-deserved point. There’s real promise among the new signings, particularly Michael Forbes, who was immense in defense. Also, a shout-out to Bert Esselink, who, at times last season, looked like he might not see first-team action again. More performances like this would suit us just fine.
