Everton have secured the loan signing of Roma midfielder Zara Kramzar for the remainder of the season.

The agreement includes an obligation for the Toffees to purchase Kramzar permanently in the summer.

The 20-year-old Slovenian international joins Everton after spending the past year on loan at Como in Italy.

Upon finalizing her transfer on the last day of the Women’s Super League transfer window, Kramzar, who will don the number 21 jersey, expressed her enthusiasm to evertontv:

“I’m absolutely thrilled. We all put in a lot of effort for this, and I’m happy to be here and begin my journey.”

“I’m really looking forward to playing at Goodison Park and interacting with the fans. I hope to learn a lot about Everton.”

“I love playing in large stadiums and can’t wait to score in front of the fans, giving my all for them and for the club.”

Kramzar added, “I’m proud to be the first Slovenian in the WSL. I’m eager to showcase my talents on the pitch.”
