The 18-year-old will gain valuable experience playing abroad for the first time in her career over the next three months.

Hobson has risen through Everton’s youth ranks, making her senior debut as a substitute in the Subway Women’s League Cup against Leicester City during the 2023/2024 season. She made history by becoming the youngest goalscorer for Everton in the Barclays Women’s Super League when she scored in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in April 2024, achieving this milestone at just 16 years and 180 days old.

Recently, Hobson has continued her development with a mix of loan spells and limited appearances for Everton. Last season, she spent the latter half on loan with Sheffield United, followed by a loan stint at Nottingham Forest to start the current term. Now, she aims to make a significant impact during her time in Norway with Rosenborg BK.

Hobson may make her debut for Rosenborg BK following the international break, as the team prepares for their upcoming Toppserien match against Aalesunds FK.
