When asked to assess Slot’s performance this season, Babbel emphasized that his achievements speak for themselves.
“He won the league with Feyenoord and then with Liverpool, competing against big teams like Ajax, PSV, and Man City and Arsenal,” Babbel remarked. “He clearly is a top manager!”

Nevertheless, Babbel highlighted the difficulties Slot has faced this season.
“He has encountered challenges,” Babbel acknowledged. “Some of his decisions and lineups have been puzzling.”
A major concern has been Slot’s management of Liverpool’s latest signings. The club invested a record £400 million last summer.
