John McGlynn has announced that Falkirk has strengthened their squad with the addition of Scott Tanser, who recently concluded a five-year tenure at St Mirren.
The 31-year-old left-back has signed a two-year contract with the Bairns, who recently made their comeback to the top tier and finished in the top six in the previous season.

Manager McGlynn expressed that Tanser’s experience in the Scottish Premiership will be crucial for the team.
“He’s an attacking left-back who enjoys pushing forward,” the Falkirk manager noted.
“He possesses excellent quality in the final third, providing great crosses for our attacking players in the box.
“His set-piece delivery is also impressive, as he demonstrated in our recent match against St Mirren at Falkirk Stadium, where the Saints scored from a corner.
“Moreover, he is capable of stepping into a left centre-back role if needed, making him a significant asset for us.”
Additionally, Calvin Miller is anticipated to depart shortly after Tanser’s signing, as Hearts are optimistic about finalizing his signature within the next 48 hours.
