Jazz: Here we go again. Another shaky start, and soon enough, it’ll feel like the league is over again. I understand it’s only the first match, but the manager’s tactics haven’t changed from last year—things look stagnant.
Sally: There’s a serious lack of creativity in the midfield for Rangers! Cammy Devlin is more of a stopper than a creator. Aasgaard was the standout player for Rangers. If Raskin wants to succeed at Rangers, he needs the right support. Youssef Chermiti and Ryan Naderi show promise as a developing striker duo.

It’s just the first match, so there’s no need for panic, but we definitely need to tighten up and be more decisive.
Alex B: What a letdown. I’ve been anticipating this for weeks, and it’s just underwhelming. Ross McCrorie was an ex-Rangers player for a reason; he was disappointing. Substituting a center-back for another right-back when a central defender was available was not a smart move, and it didn’t offer any improvement over the last five games of the previous season.
Liam: The biggest blunder was not scheduling enough friendlies to build confidence, especially with the new signings. Why wait until the first competitive game? Gassama and Naderi should not have been in my starting XI.
