“I’m pleased because he is a vital player,” Vanoli stated to Sky Sport after the match, as reported by quotes via CalcioMercato.

“His passion and eagerness to play indicate he truly wanted to contribute. However, as the coach, I must also recognize that he is a key player and we have nine more crucial matches ahead along with the upcoming round.”

Vanoli also spoke openly about the team’s tough first half, where Fiorentina found it challenging to establish their rhythm on a difficult pitch.

“We aimed to play, but the field conditions made it tough. We were slow to react to loose balls and didn’t quickly grasp how to secure qualification,” he reflected.

In contrast, the second half unfolded very differently, with Fiorentina making a comeback to claim the victory. “This team now possesses resilience; they know how to respond.”

Regarding Kean’s overall importance, Vanoli did not hold back, making it clear that his remarks are particularly relevant for Italy’s national coach Gennaro Gattuso as the World Cup playoffs approach.

“The national team coach knows far better than I do that Moise is a significant player who is eager to assist both Fiorentina and the national team. He is someone that Italy will definitely need.”
