Five Inter Players Absent…

Denzel Dumfries missed Inter’s training session today and is set to be one of five players unavailable for tomorrow’s match against Atletico Madrid.

As Inter gears up for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Atletico, they will be without five key players: Dumfries, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Matteo Darmian, Raffaele Di Gennaro, and Tomas Palacios.

All five players also missed the team’s recent 1-0 defeat to Milan, and according to TMW, none are expected to return for the upcoming Champions League match in Spain.

Inter has started their Champions League campaign strongly, winning all four of their matches so far, while Atletico has recorded two wins and two losses.

The Nerazzurri have secured 11 wins in their last 13 fixtures across all competitions, with their only losses coming to Serie A rivals Napoli and Milan.

Petar Sucic stepped in for Mkhitaryan during the derby against Milan last Sunday, while Carlos Augusto filled in on the right side for Dumfries.

Inter’s upcoming Champions League matches include fixtures against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Borussia Dortmund.

The team will be heading to Madrid later today, and Cristian Chivu is scheduled to hold a pre-match press conference at 19:00 CET (18:00 GMT).
