Frank Simply Wasnt…

Chris Cowlin, a member of the Spurs Chat podcast, believes that Thomas Frank’s tenure as manager of the Lilywhites “simply wasn’t working,” despite some initial optimism.

“When Thomas Frank was appointed, I expected him to bring a sense of calm, strong defensive skills, and tactical flexibility,” Cowlin shared with BBC Sport.

“He utilized 17 different formations while at Brentford last season. Spurs believed they were hiring a versatile manager capable of enhancing player performance.”

“However, this isn’t entirely about Frank—it’s crucial for the board to ensure depth during transfer windows.”

“Currently, the players seem demoralized even before the matches begin; their body language is concerning.”

“Frank’s role as Spurs boss just wasn’t effective. There needs to be someone new who can instill confidence and rejuvenate the energy within Tottenham.”

“I hope we can start climbing up the league table.”

As it stands, Tottenham is positioned sixth in the Premier League, sitting five points above the relegation zone.
