Lecce faced a challenging test, traveling to Szombathely and winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from 19-year-old Hjalte Laerke.
Meanwhile, Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa faced Trento, falling behind after Molina scored from a rebound. However, Lorenzo Colombo equalized from the penalty spot, and David Puczka secured a 2-1 comeback victory for Genoa.
In another friendly, Venezia, who recently earned promotion to Serie A, defeated local side Dolomiti Bellunesi 4-2. The goals came from Matteo Dagasso’s free kick, a header by Bartol Franjic, a long-range effort from captain Gianluca Busio, and a strike from new signing Albion Rrahmani.
