Frosinone Secures Serie A…

The 2025-26 Serie B season has concluded, with Frosinone securing their place in Serie A for the 2026-27 season after finishing second with an impressive 5-0 victory over Mantova on Friday night.

Promotion Confirmed: Venezia and Frosinone Move Up to Serie A

Venezia achieved promotion last weekend, sealing their status as Serie B champions for 2025-26 after securing a 2-0 win against Palermo at home on Friday night.

Venezia will be joined in Serie A by Frosinone, who wrapped up the season with 81 points after 38 matches, just one point behind the champions.

Both Venezia and Frosinone, having been relegated from Serie A at the end of the 2024-25 season, have achieved promotion back at the first opportunity.

The play-off scenario for Serie B is also set.

Monza and Palermo finished third and fourth in the standings respectively, guaranteeing them spots in the play-off semi-finals.

Catanzaro secured fifth place while Modena, Juve Stabia, and Avellino occupied sixth through eighth positions, respectively, and will participate in the preliminary round of the playoffs.

The playoffs will feature Catanzaro (fifth) facing Avellino (eighth) and Modena (sixth) matched against Juve Stabia (seventh) in one-off matches on Tuesday, May 12.

The semi-finals are scheduled for two legs on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, with the return legs on May 19 and May 20. The final will also consist of two legs, taking place on Sunday, May 24, and Friday, May 29.

On the other hand, Pescara, Spezia, and Reggiana have been confirmed for relegation from Serie B, while Bari and Sudtirol will contest the relegation play-out.
