Fulham Nears Deal for Man…

Fulham is making significant progress in negotiations to acquire winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City.

According to sources who spoke with BBC Sport, Marco Silva’s team is nearing a deal for the 22-year-old player.

Following the January signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, Bobb has seen his playing time at City diminish.

After City’s victory over Wolves, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged, “I know there are rumours and discussions, but I don’t have any updates at the moment.” When asked about Bobb’s desire to leave, Guardiola responded, “I believe so.”

Bobb, who has attracted interest from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, has made 15 appearances for City this season but has yet to score.

His most recent appearance was on December 17 against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, during which he suffered an injury and had to leave the game within the first 20 minutes.

Fulham, currently sitting seventh in the Premier League table, has lost only one of their last seven league matches under Silva, including a 2-1 win over Brighton on Saturday.

In addition to his club activities, Bobb has represented Norway six times this year, playing a key role in their qualification for the upcoming summer World Cup, and would join fellow Norwegian Sander Berge at Craven Cottage.

He missed the majority of last season due to a fractured leg bone he sustained during training in August 2024.

The Cottagers have additionally submitted a £28m offer for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi.
