A day of triumph for Gian Piero Gasperini and Roma.
With tonight’s victory over Lecce, the Giallorossi manager achieved a remarkable milestone, amassing 1,000 points in Serie A.
The three points secured tonight represent the 998th, 999th, and 1,000th of his career in Italy’s top league.

This season alone, he has guided Roma to 36 of those points.
Gasperini began his Serie A journey as the head coach of Genoa during the 2007-2008 season.
Since then, he has consistently been a part of the league, with only brief absences from 2010 to 2012.
His coaching career has included stints at clubs like Inter, Palermo, and Atalanta, where he notably amassed 623 points over nine seasons.
With this milestone, Gasperini becomes the sixth coach in Serie A history to achieve 1,000 points, joining esteemed figures such as Giovanni Trapattoni (1,266 points), Nereo Rocco (1,159 points), and Niels Liedholm (1,037 points).
Among his contemporaries this season are Massimiliano Allegri and Luciano Spalletti. Gasperini is now focused on leading Roma to new heights in both Italian and international football.
