Glasgow City has secured the loan signing of Maddy Earl, a 19-year-old midfielder from the England under-19 team, from Women’s Super League club Arsenal for the remainder of the season.
Earl previously spent the first half of this season on loan at Ipswich Town in WSL 2 and has also had loan spells at Bristol City and Sheffield United in the second tier last year.

Head coach Leanne Ross expressed enthusiasm about the signing, stating, “Maddy is an impressive talent, and we are delighted to have her with us for the rest of the season.” She continued, “With her attacking capabilities from midfield and strong technical skills, she fits perfectly with our playing style. We’re eager to see the impact she will have as the season progresses.”
