Stoke City goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu is set to be sidelined for a period following his single appearance for the club.
The Republic of Ireland keeper made a strong debut, recording a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw against QPR last weekend after joining on loan from Southampton. However, he was unable to participate in the loss against Middlesbrough due to a thigh injury.

Stoke manager Mark Robins commented to BBC Stoke & Staffordshire: “The players are giving their all; they are running on empty. Everything that can go wrong seems to be going wrong.
“We must continue to push forward until we can welcome some players back. It’s unbelievable how injury-stricken we are. It’s really impacting us.
“Gavin Bazunu will be out for about six weeks. Our squad is extremely thin.”
