Chasity Grant Extends Contract with Aston Villa
Aston Villa has officially announced that forward Chasity Grant has signed a new contract with the club, as reported on their official website this evening.
The 24-year-old Dutch international joined Aston Villa in the summer of 2024 from Ajax, a club in the Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie. Prior to her move, Grant had a successful career in the Netherlands, winning a league title with Ajax, as well as the Vrouwen Eredivisie Cup and two KNVB Women’s Cups. She also made appearances for Ajax in the UEFA Women’s Champions League early rounds.

Since joining, Grant has played 38 matches for Aston Villa across all competitions, solidifying her role as a key player in the team’s attacking line-up. Recognizing her importance, the club acted swiftly to secure her future with a contract extension.
Marisa Ewers, Aston Villa’s Director of Women’s Football, expressed her excitement about Grant’s commitment, stating, “We’re thrilled that Chasity has chosen to stay with our club. She’s an exceptional talent, and we were eager to include her in our long-term plans.”
Aston Villa will next compete against Everton at Goodison Park in the Barclays Women’s Super League this Sunday.
