Hansi Flick Expresses…

Today, various media sources suggested that FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick might contemplate departing from the club at the conclusion of this season, rather than fulfilling his contract that extends until 2027.

Reports indicated that the experienced German coach was feeling fatigued and had been considering a departure since September.

However, according to Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany, Flick has no plans to leave Barcelona at the end of the current season.

The 60-year-old manager is thoroughly satisfied with his position at the club and is committed to the project he is developing.

As previously mentioned, Flick extended his contract with Barcelona until 2027 after achieving a domestic treble in his first season.

Despite facing challenges during his tenure at the Catalan club, Flick has consistently expressed his deep affection for Barcelona and his full dedication to elevating the team’s performance.

Just this past Tuesday, ahead of the match against Club Brugge, Flick reiterated his commitment, stating:

“I’m very happy in Barcelona. I really love this club and these players, I’m very happy at this club and in this city, I’ll give my best.”

Thus, any speculation regarding a potential exit at the end of the season appears unfounded, as Flick aims to continue developing the project he initiated last season at Barcelona.
