Larne manager Gary Haveron praised his team’s “class and quality” following their 2-1 victory over Ballymena United in the Irish Cup.
Paul O’Neill opened the scoring for Larne, but Success Edogun equalized with a fantastic goal for United. Leroy Millar then scored the winning goal at the Showgrounds.

“Our players demonstrated great resilience, particularly after they equalized at 1-1,” Haveron remarked.
“Ballymena started the second half strongly and found the back of the net.
“However, we showcased our quality with our second goal.
“It was a quick break, a superb pass from Tomas [Cosgrove], and Leroy did what he has been doing for the past three to four years.
“It was a fantastic finish from him, and I’m thrilled to see him score.”
Larne will now face Warrenpoint Town in an away tie in the sixth round.
