Clubs must register two UEFA squads: List A and List B.
List A – This list had the Wednesday evening submission deadline. – Maximum 25 players. At least eight must be locally trained; of those eight, no more than four can be association-trained rather than club-trained. – If fewer than eight locally trained players are named, the 25-player cap is reduced accordingly (for example, six locally trained players = a 23-player cap). – At least two goalkeepers must be on List A, and there must be at least three goalkeepers in total across Lists A and B.
List B – Must be submitted to UEFA no later than 23:59 CET on the day before a match. – No upper limit on the number of players; intended for younger squad members. – Eligible if the player: – was born on or after 1 January 2005 and has been eligible to play for the club for two consecutive years since turning 15, or – has been eligible to play for the club for three consecutive years since turning 15, which can include a same-association loan. – Sixteen-year-olds may also be included if they have been registered with the club continuously for the previous two years.
Additional note – Players who change clubs after appearing in UEFA qualifying rounds or play-offs may play for their new team from the league phase onward.
