Dean Huijsen joined Real Madrid this summer and is quickly establishing himself as a key defensive force for Xabi Alonso’s squad.
Prior to the Champions League match against Liverpool, the Spanish defender attended a press conference alongside the coach.
When asked about his experiences in Italy, he expressed gratitude to both Roma and Juventus.
“I learned a lot about defending in Italy, and I’m very thankful to both Juventus and Roma,” he said.
“Their decision to let me go was part of the process. I cherished my time at both clubs. I feel mentally strong and am genuinely happy to be here… I hope to bring plenty of joy to the Real Madrid fans.”
