Referee Istvan Kovacs has been appointed to officiate the UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday between Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan.

Inter Milan must avoid any mistakes at Signal Iduna Park in their quest for a top-eight finish.

Currently, Cristian Chivu’s squad is facing challenges after losing their last three European matches, including a recent 3-1 defeat at home to Arsenal last week.

This places them a point behind eighth-placed Chelsea as they enter the final matchday.

On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund is also looking to rebound from two consecutive matches without a win, trailing Inter by just one point.

The match will be officiated by Istvan Kovacs.

Supporting Kovacs will be assistant referees Mihai Marica and Ferencz Tunyogi.

Szabolcs Kovacs will fulfill the role of the fourth official.

Rob Dieperink will manage the VAR responsibilities, with Tomasz Kwiatkowski assisting him in ensuring that any on-field inaccuracies are rectified.

After experiencing questionable officiating in multiple matches this season, Inter is keen to avoid further controversy during this encounter.
