Ciro Immobile showcased his enduring talent with an impressive early goal as Paris FC achieved one of the season’s most unexpected results in Ligue 1, dominating Monaco with a 4-1 victory to rise in the league standings.

The seasoned Italian forward, who made a free transfer from Bologna to the French club in January, quickly made his presence felt.
With Paris FC already ahead thanks to Jonathan Ikoné’s goal in the fourth minute, Immobile struck again in the eighth minute. He found space in the center of the box and unleashed a perfect right-footed shot, finding the back of the net.
The former Lazio player then turned playmaker, assisting Ikoné’s second goal in the 21st minute, giving Paris FC a commanding 3-0 lead before the half.

Ikoné, who played for Fiorentina from 2022 to 2025, delivered an exceptional performance, concluding with two goals. Monaco, coming into the match ranked fifth in Ligue 1, briefly responded with a goal from Folarin Balogun just before halftime, but any chance of a comeback quickly diminished in the second half.
Italy Under-21 international Luca Koleosho, a player anticipated to be key for the senior Azzurri team, sealed the comprehensive victory with a fourth goal, marking a dismal night for Monaco.
This outcome leaves Monaco stuck at 49 points, while Paris FC continues to gain momentum under manager Antoine Kombouaré.
