Francesco Acerbi last competed in Inter’s 4-0 victory over Como at home earlier this December but missed the last league match against Genoa and was not part of the squad that played in Saudi Arabia last Friday.

With Acerbi unavailable for the upcoming match in Bergamo, it is expected that Yann Bisseck will step in to fill the defensive gap.

Matteo Darmian has been recovering from a serious calf injury since late September, which he sustained during Inter’s 3-0 defeat of Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

While he has recently begun partial training, the 36-year-old has yet to achieve full fitness for match play.
