In an interview with Idealista, Wesley shared his thoughts on acclimating to Rome: “The experience has been amazing—it’s my first time in Rome and my inaugural adventure outside of Brazil. I play for a club with an incredible fanbase, a passion, and a warmth that resonate deeply with us Brazilians.”
The player, wearing number 43, continued: “The first landmark I visited was the Colosseum, and I’ve settled into my neighborhood, Casal Palocco, which is comfortable and spacious for my family. There’s plenty of green space, and I cherish spending my leisure time with them. When I’m not training, I also enjoy staying in and playing video games with friends.”
Wesley, a former Flamengo star, also mentioned: “Gerson and I have been close friends for years, and he told me that Rome is an extraordinary place and ideal for playing football. He was absolutely right! I have to confess that I appreciate a quiet lifestyle and savor moments at home with my family. While I enjoy good company, I also value my peace to recharge amid our hectic schedule.”
