Roma’s Evan Ndicka has emerged as one of the top defenders in Serie A over the past few seasons. His resilience against injuries has made him a dependable figure for the Giallorossi, and he has also stepped up as a leader in their defense.

However, Roma is facing pressure to meet Financial Fair Play regulations and needs to make significant capital gains by the end of June.

According to a La Gazzetta dello Sport report, selling Ndicka could help them achieve that goal. Juventus is keen on acquiring the Ivorian defender, with Luciano Spalletti looking for a solid left-footed option to enhance their build-up play from the back.

The strategy is for Ndicka to partner with Bremer, rotating with Lloyd Kelly, who has had a strong season. Nonetheless, Ndicka is viewed as the superior player and would likely be a more consistent starter.

With a reasonable salary and familiarity with Serie A, Ndicka is considered an attractive target. Roma has set his price at €40 million due to their financial challenges, and Barcelona has also shown interest.

Juventus’s bid could be further strengthened by the inclusion of Teun Koopmeiners in the deal.
