According to Moretto, Bastoni is already engaged in discussions about contract terms with Barcelona and is keen on making a move to Camp Nou during this summer’s transfer window.

Despite the positive dialogue, Moretto confirmed that no agreement has been reached between the two clubs, and that Inter will not consider any offers lower than €60 million.

Sportmediaset reported that Inter has already dismissed an initial offer from Barcelona.

Bastoni has had a solid season, scoring two goals and providing six assists in 35 appearances for Inter. However, his start to the year has been tumultuous.

In February, he faced boos from fans in Italian stadiums after celebrating a red card issued to Pierre Kalulu during a Serie A match against Juventus.

Additionally, he suffered a fibula injury in a 1-0 derby loss to AC Milan in March, and was subsequently shown a red card in the first half of Italy’s World Cup play-off final against Bosnia and Herzegovina, which contributed to the Azzurri’s elimination.
