Inter Milan & French…

Inter Milan is set to retain out-of-favor midfielder Andy Diouf in the upcoming transfer window, despite increasing interest from Napoli.

As reported by Matteo Moretto via FCInterNews, the 22-year-old will remain at San Siro until at least the end of the season.

Despite carrying a significant €25 million transfer fee, Andy Diouf has played a limited role at Inter this season.

In fact, the French midfielder has made only three brief appearances in Serie A since his arrival at the club in late August.

He is also still awaiting his Champions League debut while donning the Nerazzurri colors.

Diouf played for Lens earlier in the Ligue 1 season before his transfer to Inter. Having already represented two clubs this season, he is ineligible to join another team during the winter transfer window.

While Inter acted swiftly to secure Diouf’s signing ahead of Napoli, Cristian Chivu has shown little trust in the young midfielder.
