Italian media have provided a mixed review of Inter Milan’s recent performances following their elimination from the Supercoppa Italiana by Bologna, with Corriere dello Sport notably criticizing Yann Bisseck and Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Rome-based newspaper, via FCInterNews, rated both young players at 5, making them the lowest performers for Inter on the night.

Bisseck received criticism for the handball that resulted in Bologna’s penalty, despite initially starting the match strongly and utilizing his physicality effectively against Bernardeschi.
Bonny, on the other hand, struggled to leave a mark on the game.
Corriere reported that Bologna’s defenders appeared to have effectively neutralized him, in stark contrast to his previous successes against them.

Conversely, there were positive highlights for Inter as both Josep Martinez and Marcus Thuram earned a rating of 7, the highest in the squad.
Martinez was noted for his commanding presence in defense and a vital late save from Fabbian, while Thuram received accolades for his stunning volleyed goal and tireless work rate throughout the match.
Cristian Chivu also rated 6, with Corriere acknowledging Inter’s strong start and improved play in the second half, despite some late moments of tension.
Strong performances were also recorded from De Vrij, Bastoni, Barella, Mkhitaryan, and Dimarco, all of whom met expectations in a challenging encounter.
Overall, the reviews highlighted a familiar narrative: a solid team structure and quality at the senior level, overshadowed by significant mistakes from younger players during critical moments.
