Recently, the FIGC announced the list of 13 candidate cities, which includes Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin, and Verona.

The next step is to assess the submitted applications and present the finalized list of host cities to UEFA by the upcoming deadline on October 1.

It is essential that these stadiums meet various stringent UEFA regulations to be considered for hosting the EURO 2032 tournament. However, there are concerns that very few of the venues currently meet those criteria.

Interestingly, Bergamo and Udine are not included in the list, despite having recently constructed stadiums for Atalanta and Udinese.

Italy will co-host the EURO 2032 tournament with Turkiye, with each nation designating five cities for the event.
