Doku: I believe the title race is on
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Doku expressed unwavering belief in his team’s title aspirations leading into the important fixture against Arsenal.
“I watched the Arsenal game (the 2-1 loss to Bournemouth),” he noted. “Seeing them lose reminded me just how unpredictable the Premier League can be. However, we focused intensely on our own game.”

“It would be absurd not to believe (that Manchester City can win the Premier League title). I truly think the race is on. We have a significant match ahead, we’ll recover well, and we eagerly look forward to it. Let’s go! Trust me, we will be thoroughly prepared.”
Victory over Arsenal would deliver a ‘big blow’ to them, says Doku
The Belgian winger, who netted City’s third goal on Sunday after winning possession from Moises Caicedo near the Chelsea box, did not diminish the significance of the upcoming match against Arsenal.
“If we win this game, it’s a big impact on them (Arsenal),” the 23-year-old added. “A loss would hand them control. If we win, the title is in our hands, and I’d rather have it under our control.”

City’s win at Stamford Bridge means they have triumphed over Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea in consecutive matches — a streak that assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders had requested following City’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over Liverpool. The atmosphere at the Etihad next Sunday will significantly influence the title outcome.
