During the Serie A match between Milan and Juventus on Sunday, footage showed Luciano Spalletti encouraging his player, Lloyd Kelly, to adopt a more aggressive approach defensively, telling him, ‘You have to go!’
The match, held at San Siro, ended in a stalemate with both teams unable to score, showcasing a strong defensive performance.
In a video shared by DAZN, Spalletti was seen advising Kelly on the importance of being more assertive in his defensive role.

Spalletti emphasized that Kelly needed to be more closely positioned to his marker to minimize opportunities for the Bianconeri. “You play for 20 meters [far], but you have to go at five meters,” Spalletti advised. “[This way] I can play too.”
At 27, Kelly has established himself as a key player for Juventus this season, appearing in 42 matches across all competitions at the Allianz Stadium.
