Juventus Revisits Move for…

Juventus has rekindled its interest in Fikayo Tomori, nearly 18 months after a previous attempt to acquire the Milan defender fell through when he declined the offer.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, via CalcioMercato, the Bianconeri are reconsidering the center-back, attracted by his experience and familiarity with Serie A, which aligns with Luciano Spalletti’s requirements.

However, any potential deal is contingent on player departures. Giovanni Carnevali’s management wants to reduce the squad size before making new additions, with Federico Gatti being one of the candidates for a transfer.

Having been edged out by Bremer and seeking more playtime, Gatti could fetch a fee that generates a significant profit, with interest reported from Napoli and other potential moves to Turkey remaining on the horizon.

Juventus Prepared to Pursue Tomori if Gatti Leaves

Should Gatti depart, Juventus is ready to move forward with their pursuit of Tomori.

The England international, whose contract with Milan runs until 2027, may find his role diminished following the signing of Gila, making him potentially more open to a transfer than before.

For Milan, selling him would provide much-needed funds, and for Juventus, it represents a significant opportunity in the market, but only once they have created space at the back.

Since joining Milan in 2021, Tomori has become a key player, making 214 appearances and scoring seven goals, contributing to the club’s 2022 Scudetto and Supercoppa Italiana victories.

Whether his time at Milan is coming to an end may largely depend on what Juventus manages to address in their own defense.
