German DFB Pokal
Bayern Munich 3 – 0 Stuttgart FT
Harry Kane, the England captain, scored a second-half hat-trick, leading Bayern Munich to a decisive 3-0 victory over Stuttgart in the German Cup final, thereby achieving a league and cup double.
Following a scoreless first half at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Kane opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a header from Michael Olise‘s cross from the back post.
Kane notched his second goal just ten minutes later, turning brilliantly before slotting home from a pass delivered by Luis Diaz.
He capped off his hat-trick by converting a penalty in stoppage time, marking his second consecutive game with three goals.
Kane’s stellar performances have contributed to an exceptional season at Bayern, with him finishing the campaign with an impressive tally of 61 goals across 51 matches.
Having already secured the Bundesliga title for a second consecutive season in May and the German Supercup last August, Kane has claimed four trophies since joining Bayern in the summer of 2023.
This convincing victory over Stuttgart marks Bayern’s 21st German Cup win, their first since the 2019-20 season.
