Kean: Fiorentina has…

After a challenging week, Moise Kean came off the bench to score the decisive goal for Fiorentina against Cremonese. “The club has always supported me; now it’s my turn to give back,” he said.

The Viola faced frustration at Stadio Franchi, missing multiple chances, including a controversial penalty that was initially given but later overturned following a meticulous VAR review.

Just as it appeared the match was heading for a goalless draw, Niccolò Fortini’s header from Manor Solomon’s cross was saved by Emil Audero, only to rebound into the path of Kean, who scored.

Though the club had planned to maintain a media silence after the victory, they decided to lift it in light of the win.

Kean Remains Optimistic for Fiorentina

“A last-minute goal like that can happen, which means we should remain positive and believe in our ability to secure safety,” Kean shared with DAZN Italia.

“It was crucial to come on with the right mindset, and we did just that. Now, we move ahead.”

This victory marked only Fiorentina’s second of the season, following their recent win against 10-man Udinese.

“Being at the bottom is tough for anyone, especially for a club like Fiorentina. We need to keep pushing and aim for more,” he added.

Kean was initially not in the starting lineup due to having missed several training sessions, yet he entered the game and made a significant impact.

“I focused on my role and aimed to clear my mind, contributing more on the field. The club has always been there for me, so I want to repay them,” he stated.

After scoring, the striker rushed to embrace coach Paolo Vanoli along the sidelines.

“He provides the enthusiasm we need; he’s a great coach, and together we can achieve great things,” Kean remarked.

“I want to convey to the fans that we cannot resolve this situation alone. If we unite, we can succeed, and I have faith that a city like Florence will support us significantly.”
