The 34-year-old Greek international reminisced about Roma’s thrilling comeback against Barcelona in 2018, where he played a key role by scoring the decisive goal, leading to a stunning 3-0 victory in the second leg after a 4-1 defeat in the first leg.
Juventus faced a similar situation this season, suffering a 5-2 loss away to Galatasaray. Although they managed to win the second leg 3-2, they were unable to claw back the necessary aggregate score, ultimately falling short and missing out on the Round of 16.
