Kristjan Asllani Shares:…

Kristjan Asllani has spoken out about his summer loan transfer from Inter Milan to Torino, which includes an option to buy.

In an interview with Sport Mediaset, as reported by FCInterNews, the Albanian midfielder described the move as a ‘positive development.’

Despite initially rejecting a transfer to Rayo Vallecano earlier in the summer, Kristjan Asllani ultimately found himself leaving San Siro.

At the close of the summer transfer window, the 23-year-old signed a season-long loan with Torino.

Additionally, Torino secured a buyout option in their agreement with Inter Milan.

This arrangement allows them to make Asllani’s transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Given Asllani’s impressive start in Turin, this outcome seems highly likely.

After spending three challenging seasons at Inter, he has quickly become a key player under Marco Baroni.

Asllani has made five Serie A appearances this season and emerged as Torino’s standout midfielder.

“I’m sad to leave behind such fantastic teammates and a great club,” Asllani remarked. “However, it was important for my growth to seek a change.

“I believe this move benefits everyone, including Inter. I’m excited to be in Turin because I genuinely wanted to come here.

“Being part of a team that truly values me is significant. They welcomed me wonderfully.”

He also acknowledged that he had to depart Inter due to limited playing opportunities, largely because Hakan Calhanoglu was ahead in the lineup.

“One of the reasons for leaving Inter was the scarcity of playing time, especially since Hakan Calhanoglu was clearly favored.”

“I faced challenges, but it was apparent that if others were always chosen to play, my standing was not as strong as theirs.

“Nonetheless, I’m grateful for the journey I shared with my teammates who supported me.

“Now, I’m very pleased with the direction I’m headed: it’s up to me to keep pushing forward, as I believe there’s much satisfaction to be achieved.”
