On Saturday, four matches took place in La Liga as the 14th matchday of the 2025-26 season continued. Barcelona welcomed Alaves to the Spotify Camp Nou, with Atletico Madrid, Real Oviedo, Levante, Athletic Club, Mallorca, and Osasuna also competing.

Atletico Madrid 2-0 Real Oviedo

Atletico Madrid climbed to third in the La Liga standings with their seventh consecutive victory across all competitions, securing a comfortable 2-0 win at the RiyadhAir Metropolitano. Both goals came from Alexander Sorloth in a ten-minute span during the first half, with the first one marking a historic achievement for Los Colchoneros—becoming the first team in La Liga history to net the opening goal in each of their first 14 matches of the season.

This victory places Atletico just one point behind Real Madrid and three points behind Barcelona, while Real Oviedo remains at the bottom of the table.

Athletic Club Claims Impressive Win in Valencia

Levante 0-2 Athletic Club

Athletic Club secured their first away win in La Liga since August, triumphing over Levante at the Ciudad de Valencia. Robert Navarro gave Los Leones a fantastic start just three minutes into the match, followed by another goal from Nico Williams, both assisted by Alex Berenguer.

Athletic remains in eighth place but is now just one point away from fifth-placed Real Betis, while Levante holds on to 19th.

Osasuna Fights Back to Secure Draw at Son Moix

Mallorca 2-2 Osasuna

Mallorca will regret not securing an important win as they settled for a draw against Osasuna at Son Moix. The home team took a commanding lead with two goals from Vedat Muriqi in a five-minute span during the second half, but they allowed Osasuna to equalize with late strikes from Raul Garcia and Enzo Boyomo.

Mallorca’s point lifts them to 15th, while Osasuna remains in 17th place.
