Michael Carrick praised Senne Lammens for his ability to “eliminate chaos” for Manchester United.
The goalkeeper earned the man of the match title for his stellar performance in the 1-0 victory over Everton on Monday.

“Bloody good,” was Everton manager David Moyes’s candid assessment.
Lammens made an exceptional fingertip save to thwart a powerful shot from Michael Keane and confidently dealt with a series of crosses and corners as Everton pressed for an equalizer.
This performance starkly contrasted with United’s League Cup defeat to League Two’s Grimsby in August, during which Andre Onana struggled to manage his six-yard box. Additionally, Altay Bayindir had a challenging six-match run as the first-choice keeper, failing to secure a clean sheet.
In contrast, Lammens has recorded five clean sheets so far, including two in his last three appearances—a feat United hasn’t achieved in over a year.

“Instead of creating chaos, you want him to absorb it and bring calm,” Carrick noted.
“Senne may appear quiet and unassuming at times, but he possesses a strong inner resolve.
“The step he took to join us is significant. His ability to adapt and carry on speaks volumes about his character.
“The last 15 minutes were particularly challenging for him, given the volume of corners and crosses to defend.
“But he handled them confidently, effectively diffusing the situation. It’s certainly a pleasing aspect of his performance.”
