Serie A club Lazio has been consistently teetering on the brink of unrest, and a situation has recently arisen involving midfielder Kenneth Taylor and coach Rino Gattuso.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the incident occurred during today’s training session at Formello, where Lazio is currently holding its pre-season workouts. The team was engaged in tactical drills under Gattuso’s supervision.
During the session, Taylor was struck by a teammate, leading him to express his displeasure. This interruption caught Gattuso’s attention, who deemed such occurrences typical in training. In response, Taylor confronted Gattuso verbally.
The situation escalated into a heated exchange, prompting Gattuso to dismiss Taylor from the training session. Without further reaction, Taylor returned to the locker room.
The training session continued on schedule, albeit without Taylor. A meeting between the coach and the player is expected shortly to determine if the Dutch midfielder can rejoin the afternoon training without further issues.
