Liverpool has several upcoming market opportunities to consider, one of which involves a potential acquisition of Mor Talla Ndiaye. According to the Liverpool ECHO, the club is nearing a deal to bring the player from Amitie FC in Senegal this January.
Ndiaye, an 18-year-old defender, is set to join Rob Page’s U21 squad. He drew attention during the U17 World Cup and has been gaining valuable experience playing at the senior level in Senegal’s second division.

It is anticipated that Ndiaye will require some time to adjust to life in England and will not face immediate pressure to integrate into the first team.
His skill set is impressive—he’s tall, fast, and very assured on the ball, making him an ideal fit for Liverpool. As a left-footed player operating as a left-sided centre-back, he addresses a position where the team currently lacks depth.
Furthermore, the ECHO’s report suggests that upon completion of Ndiaye’s transfer, Amara Nallo may be leaving the club.
Nallo, currently part of the U21 setup, is expected to go on loan with multiple clubs showing interest in him.
Having joined from West Ham United, Nallo is considered a highly promising defender, well-regarded by the club’s academy staff.
Unfortunately, he has faced setbacks, being sent off in both of his competitive first-team appearances—once against PSV Eindhoven last season and again against Crystal Palace in this season’s League Cup.
Despite these incidents, Nallo has maintained an excellent reputation and has excelled in his performances for the U21 team. He is definitely poised to take the next step in his career, and gaining exposure to senior football will provide him with a fantastic opportunity for growth and development.
