Liverpool may have discovered a promising winger as they intensify their interest in a Premier League standout. This one is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Liverpool is actively searching for one or two new wingers, even after their significant £450m investment last summer aimed at refreshing their first-team lineup.

However, the Reds are not finished yet. They have yet to address both the midfield and wing areas and notably parted ways with Luis Diaz without a replacement. It’s clear they’re focusing on enhancing their wing positions in 2026.

This urgency is further fueled by the reality that Mo Salah’s future is uncertain. With his contract entering its final year again next summer, Liverpool must consider a potential successor, as he might even leave a year earlier than anticipated.

Thus, Liverpool is likely seeking additions on both flanks. There’s even a possibility of acquiring wingers for both sides, depending on their confidence in Rio Ngumoha as a first-team option and Cody Gakpo as a long-term prospect.

At the very least, it seems they are preparing for a significant signing on one of the wings, and it’s an intriguing prospect.

Liverpool Pursuing Brazilian Talent

According to Football Insider, Liverpool has set its sights on Fulham’s Kevin. So much so that chief scout Barry Hunter monitored the Brazilian during Fulham’s 3-0 victory over Wolves this past weekend.

Kevin made his starting debut for Fulham in that match and he certainly made an impression. The 22-year-old showcased his skill on the ball, attempting nine take-ons and successfully completing five of them.

What really stood out was his ability to carry the ball forward. He made 21 ball-carrying runs, with eight deemed ‘progressive’ based on the distance covered.

This is precisely the kind of winger Liverpool is aiming to recruit. They are in search of a player unafraid to take on defenders and advance the team up the pitch independently.

Such a role was filled by Diaz, and Liverpool has yet to find a replacement. Kevin is demonstrating that he possesses this crucial ability, having recorded seven progressive carries in his last match—despite only playing for 45 minutes.

Although Kevin has just joined Fulham, a quick transfer to Liverpool isn’t expected. However, the club is clearly ramping up their scouting efforts to evaluate his capabilities up close.

It’s evident that Liverpool sees him as a significant talent—one with the potential to evolve into their next star winger.
