An essential player for Liverpool is set to secure a new contract with the club.
Following a tumultuous contract saga last season, Richard Hughes emerged victorious by securing new contracts for Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Hughes made every effort to retain Trent Alexander-Arnold, but it seemed a futile task as the former number 66 had already been eyeing a move to Madrid before the season kicked off.

Moreover, Robertson is a significant presence in the locker room, getting along well with teammates and offering invaluable experience from his time spent winning trophies with Liverpool.
Although Liverpool is cautious about giving long contracts to players over 30, Robertson is actively defying the norm. He has expressed a desire to stay and fight for his place in the squad, despite doubts cast against him this summer, he’s proving those voices wrong. Robertson remains an integral part of the team’s plans under Slot’s guidance, making him truly deserving of a new contract.
