Liverpool is confident that Mohamed Salah will remain at Anfield until the end of the season, as reported by The Athletic.
The 33-year-old forward is currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where Egypt is set to face Senegal in the semi-finals on Wednesday.

Salah has been in outstanding form during the tournament, scoring four goals in his first four matches.
Nevertheless, his future at Liverpool remains uncertain following controversial remarks made last month, where he claimed the club had “thrown him under the bus” and expressed that his relationship with manager Arne Slot had deteriorated. Salah was subsequently omitted from the squad after the interview.
Despite this recent turmoil, Liverpool anticipates that the seasoned player will stay with the team at least until summer. There is hope that any issues can be resolved and he will fulfill the rest of his contract, which extends until 2027.
A potential summer departure, however, could be on the cards if the player and the club are unable to reconcile their differences.

Salah has several potential suitors, including Saudi Arabia, which is eager to do whatever it takes to bring him to the Middle East.
Salah has been a vital player for Liverpool since his transfer from Roma in 2017, contributing to the team’s victories in two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.
This season, however, he has struggled to replicate his previous form, managing only four goals in 14 league appearances.
