Achieving a victory against the league leaders at their home ground was always going to be a challenging task, but it was crucial for the team to put in a respectable performance following our lackluster showing against Dundee United.
Although we didn’t earn any points at Tynecastle, we departed the pitch with our heads held high, and it seems the manager may have managed to sway a few Livi fans back in his favor.

Debutant Brooklyn Kabongolo truly shone in this match. The imposing center-back exhibited confidence with the ball and a commendable tenacity in regaining possession.
Honestly, he wasn’t even on my radar while on loan at Arbroath, but I’m pleased the manager recalled him, as the experience has evidently aided his development.
Our new recruits, Emmanuel Danso and Joshua Zimmerman, made their appearances but, aside from a hefty tackle on a Hearts player, didn’t contribute significantly. However, their efforts were promising, and I’m optimistic that they will integrate well into the squad and bring some much-needed energy.
The second half featured one of our strongest performances in recent times. With better finishing, we could have secured at least a point.

Big Tete Yengi put in a commendable performance upfront, but his goal tally—two in 20 games—leaves much to be desired. It might be time to give Robbie Muirhead a chance to lead the attack, especially considering how effective he was in that role last season.
With our upcoming match against St Mirren postponed, all attention now turns to a pivotal clash against Kilmarnock, where Neil McCann will be at the helm for the first time.
