Manchester City to Offer…

  • Manchester City will allocate 100 to 500 tickets for each home match during the 2026-27 Premier League season.

  • Ticket prices will be set at £10 for adults, £7.50 for concessions, and £5 for children under five.

  • This new initiative comes in response to protests regarding season ticket price freezes from last season.

Manchester City is showing appreciation to its local fanbase by offering £10 tickets for all home games in the 2026-27 Premier League season.

The club, embarking on a fresh chapter under Enzo Maresca after Pep Guardiola’s departure, collaborated with City Matters, a fan advisory board, to implement this initiative.

The program aims to strengthen the local support network while providing residents near the Etihad Campus the chance to attend matches they may not have previously experienced.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak intervenes to alleviate concerns over season ticket price hikes for Manchester City fans.

City’s season kicks off against Bournemouth next month, with ticket allocations ranging from 100 to 500 available, including for high-stakes matches against Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United later in the season.

Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults, £7.50 for concessions, and £5 for children under five, with options for groups to apply together if they wish to sit together.

In a statement to the Manchester Evening News, Lee Broadstock, chair of City Matters, expressed satisfaction with the club’s efforts to help local fans access matches, stating, “We’re really pleased to see the club take proactive steps to help local people watch Manchester City, with thousands of Premier League tickets available for just £10.”

“By making matches more accessible, it will encourage more residents from east Manchester to attend regularly, rally behind the team, and enhance the game-day atmosphere at the Etihad.”

As outlined by the local council, eligible addresses in areas such as Clayton & Openshaw, Ancoats & Beswick, Gorton & Abbey Hey, Ardwick, and Miles Platting & Newton Heath can participate in the new ticket scheme, with seating spread throughout the Etihad Stadium rather than limited to one specific section.

Engaging local fans has become a focus for City leadership following numerous protests last season regarding season ticket price freezes announced for the 2025/26 campaign—a move that prompted chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to remark on the unacceptable disconnect between fans and the club.

Manchester City attempted to increase ticket prices before ultimately reversing that decision.

In light of the £300 million expansion of the North Stand—now named the Pep Guardiola Stand in tribute to the esteemed former manager—club executives recognize the importance of considering the local community’s financial impact.

Offering discounted tickets is a way to engage the east Manchester community, bolstered by the nearby Co-op Live concert venue and ongoing improvements by the City Football Group around the stadium.

Earlier this year, the eight-time Premier League champions announced ambitious plans to construct a new 400-bed hotel, create a 3,000-capacity fan zone, establish a new club shop, and build a museum along with a 600-capacity immersive entertainment venue featuring “Mamma Mia! The Party,” with recent permissions nearing finalization.
